If you live in London, New York or another global metropolis, you're probably used to the idea of your local area being represented in big-budget media. But if you're from Gloucestershire, the closest things get is Hot Fuzz. Punishing and beautifully crafted, Darkest Dungeon is cruelty at its classiest. I was feeling pretty good during my first few hours of Darkest Dungeon - until I met The Collector, anyway. Fans vote on new mob to be added to Minecraft

Fans of Minecraft voted for the Allay mob to be added to the game during the Minecraft Live event at the weekend. As has become annual tradition at Minecraft Live, fans are given the opportunity to vote for one of three mobs to be added in a future update. This year, as we previously reported, the three potential mobs were the Allay, Glare and Copper Golem mobs. Ubisoft has announced that Far Cry 5's next DLC episode, the pulpy sci-fi-themed Lost on Mars, will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC next week, on July 17th. Legacy, the upcoming NFT-funded game from Fable creator Peter Molyneux, has already raked in around $53m (£40m). Hopeful speculators can purchase imaginary land in the game, which is not due out until some point next year, and are indeed apparently doing so. The game's most expensive land plot, "London", sold for $900k ($670k). Nasty, brutish and short, Ryse: Son of Rome has emerged from a seven-year development hell as a visually resplendent, preternaturally dumb action game that exhibits a galling, monotonous bloodlust.
