Valheim's first major update comes out 16th September.
Publisher Coffee Stain Publishing and developer Iron Gate Studio confirmed the date for Valheim Hearth & Home, and released a new cinematic animated trailer, below, during Gamescom Opening Night Live.
The hugely successful open-world co-op survival game gets a raft of new content with this update.
As you'd expect from its title, one of the themes of the update is food. It also enhances the core base building and survival mechanics, Iron Gate Studio said.

NPC (non-player character) island visitors in Animal Crossing: New Horizons are, as the name suggests, characters that don't take up permanent residence on your island.
Instead, they will visit your island for a day. This could be a specific day of the week or they can be part of a rotating schedule, which means that you're guaranteed a visit from them every two weeks. Many of these visitors, such as Redd and Saharah, allow you to purchase items that no other merchant in the game offers, while K.

High-scoring fun from EA Sports, but FIFA 18 is an unspectacular upgrade. You know how Spurs never made a superstar signing in the summer but are still really good and should really end up in the top four of the Premier League? Well, FIFA is Spurs this year.

When I reviewed Fallout 76 at launch, I said it was in desperate need of a hub - a town or a city filled with NPCs. Now, with the release of free update Wastelanders, it's not just got one city, it's got two - and a bucketload of NPCs to boot.
The addition of NPCs and all they bring with them - dialogue choices, voice acting, quests and actual story - drags Fallout 76 towards the traditional single-player Fallout experience, and it's all the better for it.

We've already taken a deep look at Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition on PC and were genuinely impressed with its phenomenal ray tracing - perhaps not surprising when the new 4A Engine is built from the ground up with hardware-accelerated RT hardware in mind. However, the question we could not answer at the time was simple enough: how does that experience translate to the new wave of consoles? Is there enough horsepower on tap to deliver a state-of-the-art 60fps ray tracing showcase?

A new high-end RTX graphics card has arrived: the RTX 2080 Super. Super and Ti are almost analogous in Nvidia's current naming structure, so does that mean this is a flagship card in line with the RTX 2080 Ti? Not quite - Nvidia isn't going to follow on from the RTX 2080 Ti without any pressure from AMD, so this card takes a different tack: moving the goalposts. Using lessons learned from a year of RTX 2080 production, Nvidia is able to create a souped-up RTX 2080 card at the same price point as earlier reference designs.

Raid achievements are the headline addition to the new Together We Raid update in Pokémon Go.
These new achievements give trainers feats based on their performance in the raid - from the most damage dealt to the largest Pokémon who joined the fight.
As well as this, the Together We Raid update gives Raids and Gyms a visual refresh, with bolder transitions and a new stadium to fight in. Ultimately, though, Raids work the exact same - come in with your best counters then attempt to catch the Pokémon when the Raid is over.
