Fortnite fans are up in arms over Epic's decision to sell a new version of a previously Battle Pass-exclusive character via the in-game store.
Players argue this goes against Epic's long-standing promise never to sell Battle Pass content outside of the pass and that, while the two skins differ, this character was one only available to season 5 Battle Pass owners.
The skin in question - Summer Drift - is a beachwear version of Drift, Fortnite's poster boy for season 5.

2001 has been a great year for PS2 owners, and it has seen the introduction of Nintendo's spectacular GameBoy Advance platform. Although Dreamcast manufacturer Sega tailed off production in March, the platform has also seen several important and extremely impressive products in the intervening period. Far from gaming's dead duck, the Dreamcast is still a big success, and this year's wooden spoon has to go to the PC. Although a large number of PC games materialized during 2001, very few truly stood out, and some of the most anticipated fell short of expectation.

The thing about Mario is that, as much as he looks like a little dungareed chap, he's not really a character. Ever since Nintendo's rise in the 1980s, he's been an icon: the embodiment of pure gaming joy, a wah-hooing hero eternally saving Mushroom Kingdoms in between entering every sporting event going. It's funny to think of how many different Marios there have been - and it's this aspect of the character that Paper Mario has always riffed on.

The Living Dex is the ultimate Pokémon player's goal, requiring a considerable amount of time and patience.
It's a challenge, basically, even more so than completing the full National Pokédex and second only to that goal of the truly fanatical who want to catch a Shiny version of every Pokémon too.
It takes most players weeks, months or even years to complete, depending on how much of a head start you have and how efficiently you go about it, but worse still there's just no clear way or place to start.

Glorious artwork and a fan's eye for detail combine for a sequel that manages to best its forebears. If you ask me what it is that made Sega's games really sing when they were in their 90s pomp, I'd settle on just one thing. It's the swagger, that cocky self-assuredness backed up with an impeccable sense of style. Any doubt that Streets of Rage began life as a Final Fight clone is soon erased if you look at the similarity between the two leading men, but could Cody Travers ever match the sheer attitude of Axel Stone as he piled through neon-slicked streets full of hoodlums in step to Yuzo Koshiro's searing techno beats?

Page 1 of 5 Next page Velen: in parts miserable and swampy, in others pleasant and bucolic. It's home to some pretty creepy folk, from werewolves to giant chickens, and the creature from the black lagoon. There are a few low level quests available that you should be able to do on your first plot-related visit, and some you'll need to come back for much later.
For the CCG fans amongst you, there are also a few Gwent leagues to get stuck into, and you can try your hand at a spot of horse racing as well.
