The curious case of Call of Duty: Warzone crossplay

Last week, Eurogamer revealed how Call of Duty players on console were disabling crossplay in order to escape cheaters on PC. But it turns out not all console players have this option. Much was made of Call of Duty's new crossplay feature when it was confirmed - and with good reason. For the first time friends could play Activision's blockbuster shooter across platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC players all matchmaking together. [Read More]

The MAG Factor | Eurogamer.net

Page 1 of 3 Next page Quietly going about its business in a closed beta phase, Zipper Interactive's MAG is one of the most intriguing games Digital Foundry has taken a look at recently, and an important milestone in the evolution of online console gaming. Sure, massively multiplayer games are nothing new, and MAG's support for 256 players is probably small beer up against some of the behemoth MMOs available for PC. [Read More]

There's a mysterious new Undertale game

UPDATE 31/10/2018: Since the events of earlier today, in which the Undertale Twitter account released an entirely new game onto the internet with no warning, multiple players have reported issues when uninstalling the game. According to those who have (somehow) already tried to uninstall the files for Deltarune, the uninstaller deleted anything else that was tucked in the same folder as the game files. So if you kept the game's uninstaller contained in a separate game folder (the recommended installation process), you should be fine: but if you popped it elsewhere, you might lose that entire folder - along with all the files it contained. I owe everything I am to Buck Rogers: Countdown to Doomsday

I can still remember when I first laid my eyes on it. On a shelf full of the usual mid-1990s suspects - Streets of Rage, Sonic the Hedgehog, Revenge of Shinobi, so many sports games - Buck Rogers: Countdown to Doomsday stood out. A distinctive red box with some garish and heroic art, it couldn't help but stand out. I'd later learn this was the NTSC version of the game (fortunately, it was region-free), but for now, that just made it look a bit exotic for an 11-year-old who mostly bought into the 'judge a game by its cover' conceit.
