Mortal Kombat X release date set for April

New fighting game Mortal Kombat X will be released around the world starting 14th April, Warner has announced. That's a Tuesday and that's definitely the date for the UK, Warner PR confirmed. The game's due out on five platforms: PC, PS4 and PS3, and Xbox One and Xbox 360. Goro, the iconic four-armed brute, has become a pre-order bonus character (and presumably paid DLC at a later point?). I'm sure that'll go down well. [Read More]

Speaking at a tech conference in Seattle, as reported by GeekWire, Newell explained that instituting restrictive DRM was the wrong way of looking at the problem. "One thing that we have learned is that piracy is not a pricing issue. It's a service issue," [Read More]

Whether you're playing as Leon or Claire, you'll find it in the West Office, 1F, nearest the door leading back out into the Main Hall once you eventually get the Spade Key. Unlike the safe codes, portable safe solutions and locker codes - which technically require further clues to find later in the game - the Leon Desk Puzzle solution is able to be solved there and then. The Flower Collectors review - a simple but full-hearted spin on Rear Window

A likeable indie with cracking source material and a special setting, The Flower Collectors is just missing the magic of detail. Rear Window is absolutely perfect video games fodder. Hitchcock's classic, self-contained thriller about a man solving a neighbourhood murder while confined to the four walls of his apartment has been spoofed and refernced so many times in popular culture, in fact, that I'm sort of amazed it hasn't been made into a game already.
