F-Zero X comes to Nintendo Switch Online with online multiplayer

The F-Zero series is finally headed to the Switch - at least, the N64's F-Zero X is. It's the next game to arrive on the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion, following Majora's Mask last month. It will be available from 11th March. Following the impressive Mode 7 graphics of the SNES original, F-Zero X added polygonal graphics, 30 character races, and blistering speed over winding, rollercoaster tracks at a smooth 60 fps. Games industry pays tribute to George A. Romero

George A. Romero, the legendary filmmaker behind Night of the Living Dead and its sequels, has died from lung cancer aged 77. Considered by many as the godfather of the zombie genre, Romero's huge influence can be seen throughout film, television and video games. His series of Dead movies has become an iconic part of popular culture, while the casting of African-American actor Duane Jones in the lead role of 1968 classic Night of the Living Dead was praised. More than five years on, For Honor is getting crossplay

After years of waiting, For Honor fans are finally getting crossplay. Ubisoft is set to release a slew of new content as part of For Honor's upcoming sixth year, but crossplay is without a doubt the most eagerly anticipated feature to be addressed. "Crossplay will be deployed in 2 Phases in For Honor," the developer revealed in a blogpost. Players have translated Tunic's runic language

Players have already translated the runic language in Tunic. Throughout the game, instructions from characters, signposts, and the in-game manual are written in a made-up runic language. Players aren't required to translate it; instead it adds an air of mystery to the foxy adventure and forces players to analyse visual clues instead. However, some eager players have begun diligently translating the runes, including Reddit user oposdeo. Oposdeo, who works as a programmer not a linguist, has only beaten a couple of bosses in the game so far, but has managed to ascertain vowels, consonants, and grammar structure of the fictional language. Pokémon Go - Bidoof Breakout event: Research tasks and Catch XP bonuses explained

The Bidoof Breakout event sees Bidoof invade Pokémon Go en mass. (Take that Team Go Rocket!) During this event, you'll be able to teach Bidoof a variety of moves it can't normally use, but, best of all, include a Catch XP bonus which will increase throughout the breakout. Reports claim voice actor leaked Resident Evil 4 remake concept art

Reports over the weekend claimed Resident Evil voice actor DC Douglas leaked concept art from Capcom's upcoming, unannounced Resident Evil 4 remake. The artwork - which it is claimed Douglas sent privately to fans via Twitter after discussing his role during a Twitch livestream - purportedly shows Resident Evil series villain Albert Wesker, the role Douglas played for many years.
