Guitar Hero Live's GHTV mode - the mode that let you buy premium shows to play along to - shuts down on 1st December 2018, Activision has announced. You can still play Guitar Hero Live mode in the console versions of the game. On 1st June 2018, iOS versions of Guitar Hero Live will be pulled from the app store. It looks like pre-orders for Marvel's Midnight Suns are about to go live ahead of an October release date. That's according to a new leak - which the source insists was obtained via an anonymous online retailer - that seemingly backs up prior claims that the game is set to release on 6th October and will be available in three flavours: a standard, enhanced, and legendary edition. The claims may have flown entirely under the radar, but the images accompanying the leaker's tweets - thought to have been box art - have all been zapped with a copyright notice from a senior legal assistant at Take-Two, leading many to believe they are genuine. Having already created Cloud's Buster Sword, master blacksmith Tony Swatton has once again taken on the blades of Final Fantasy 7 - this time it's the turn of Sephiroth's sword. The video, below, shows Swatton and assistants forging a real life version of Sephiroth's 84 inch long Masamune. It's pretty impressive work.
