I was really sad this week to read about Jeffrey Kaplan leaving Blizzard after 19 years. That's a heck of a long time. Think about all he's done there: directed World of Warcraft, directed Titan, which yes, never came out, but it was recycled into Overwatch and that turned out OK didn't it? Kaplan is a golden goose if you ask me. But it's not so much what he did but how he did it I admire.

What a confounding beast Dishonored 2 is. Like its predecessor, this is a game that gives players lots and lots of ways to murder people, then shames them for doing so. After every level it offers you a rating based on your conspicuousness and kill count. "Taking lives will cause Emily (or Corvo) and their allies to grow more cynical. This morning's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone update adds mode-specific uninstall options on PC, and using it I was able to get the game's install footprint down to 168GB.
After downloading the ~20GB patch, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone weighed in at a whopping 231GB on PC.
Within Battle.net is a basic mode-specific uninstall manager that lets you ditch the campaign, multiplayer and / or spec ops.

Pokémon Gold and Silver's mysterious Ilex Shrine location famously left Game Boy owners puzzled. Visit the forest location and it is obvious something is supposed to happen there. But nothing ever does. On internet message boards and in playgrounds, rumours circulated there was a way of summoning up Gold and Silver's mythical Pokémon Celebi by doing a specific thing, or bringing a specific item.
