Yakuza: Like a Dragon money making: The best quests and methods to get yen fast

From shaking down innocent bystanders to bankrolling shady deals, making money is a big deal for the yakuza - something that the big-hearted Ichiban Kasuga doesn't inherently have a knack for when you're first introduced to him. Nonetheless, finding ways to earn yen in Yakuza: Like a Dragon is crucial if you want to access all the activities in this huge game. Sure, you can get a can of Boss coffee from the vending machine or go for a game of Virtua Fighter 2 at the arcade with a few hundred yen. [Read More]

A Slipknot and Smite crossover is launching next week

In a crossover which I wager absolutely no one saw coming, heavy metal band Slipknot is landing in Smite. The event will launch on 17th May. Band members Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson, Craig Jones, Michael Pfaff, Shawn Crahan, Jay Weinberg, Mick Thomson, Jim Root and Alessandro Venturella will all be available as skins in the game. Slipknot rapidly rose to fame in the late 90s following the release of their self-titled debut album. [Read More]

Animal Crossing storage shed: How to unlock the storage shed and how it works in New Horizons

There is now an Animal Crossing storage shed available thanks to New Horizon's 2.0 update. As you're exploring your island, there's never a shortage of items to pick up. Sadly, your pockets don't have infinite room to carry everything at once, which ends up limiting your trips as you inevitably end up returning home to drop items there. But a new addition may be just the thing you need. [Read More]

Flipnote Studio April Fool's ends in creator being harassed

Numerous Nintendo fans (and fan sites) this week fell foul of a fake Flipnote Studio revival - and now the person behind the intended April Fool's joke is receiving a torrent of abuse. It all began at the weekend, when a detailed set of images popped up online purporting to be of a Switch remake for the DS and 3DS doodler. The screenshots were said to have been posted by a Japanese user who gained access to a beta version, and included illustrations of obscure Nintendo characters from forgotten games such as Giftpia and Chibi-Robo. Frostpunk: On the Edge review - pressure from a different perspective

On the Edge provides a tense new challenge and is the perfect reason to rediscover an exquisite city-building game. To me, Frostpunk is a game about pressure, it provides the context for everything you do. What you build depends on where you're being stretched thinnest. Are you running out of coal? Research and improve your coal production. Are you out of food? Do the same for food. Has the temperature dropped and you need better insulation? [Read More]

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes review

Ground Zeroes sees MGS casting away so many of its cinematic pretensions and falling in love with being a video game all over again. By the time of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Kojima Productions' series - often thrilling, sometimes tiring but never anything less than fascinating - had twisted itself into a dead end. In the creaking fatigue of the ageing Snake, a battle-weary individualist at odds with wars fought by faceless corporations and their automatons, it was hard not to see some of creator Hideo Kojima himself; a man with a singular vision lost in the broad, mundane chaos of contemporary games development, slowly tiring of the very thing that had forged his own legend.
