Fable Anniversary now backwards compatible on Xbox One

Fable Anniversary is finally available to play on Xbox One, via the console's backwards compatibility service. Anniversary is the enhanced re-release of the original Fable 1, which launched all the way back for the first Xbox in 2004. Anniversary then turned up a decade later, in 2014. Nier: Automata's Japanese launch tomorrow has English subtitles

UPDATE 22/02/2017 4pm: Nier: Automata is out on the Japanese PlayStation Network and not only does it have English subtitles, its voice-acting is in English as well. Even stranger, this is the default setting, so you don't even need to navigate any Japanese menus to alter its language options. Pokémon Go introduces form changing mechanic

Pokémon Go will finally let you change the form of certain Pokémon, beginning with the franchise's primped and preened Poodle Furfour. Pokémon forms frequently change naturally in the main series of Pokémon games, but have until now been locked within Pokémon Go, and players have been tasked with collecting each individually. Predator: Hunting Grounds gets the Valkyrie Predator, custom private matches and Big Head mode

Predator: Hunting Grounds gets a significant update today, as well as the new Valkyrie Predator premium DLC. The Valkyrie Predator carries a two-handed Norse hammer that deals close-range damage. The PlayStation 5 now warns you that you're about to play the PlayStation 4 version of a game. The warning, seemingly spotted first by Twitter user @Tidux, pops up when you attempt to play a PS4 game and a PS5 version is also available. The message provides the option to play the PS4 version or switch to the PS5 version. This is a useful addition.
