Like it or not, Modern Warfare exerts a powerful gravitational pull on the games within its orbit - and, while the titles under the Tom Clancy brand may have started out as tactical simulations, they're not immune to the inexorable tug of Activision's super-dense star. A couple of handheld spin-offs aside, the last time Ghost Recon saw the light of day was in 2007's Advanced Warfighter 2, and much has changed since then.

Beautiful difficulty options open out a game of beautiful difficulty. This game casts a spell. A very particular spell. It is hard as they come, punishing, brutal, unforgiving in its challenge. Over five episodes, Life is Strange has become more than another interactive drama - it's become one of the most interesting games in years. It's difficult to think of a way to convincingly recommend Life is Strange without including a multitude of caveats. It's an interactive drama, but the story isn't always well-written and the dialogue is frequently clumsy. It strikes at an audience other games rarely consider, but there's a lot of half-baked teen angst going on.
