Development kits are out, game makers are briefed. Sony's PlayStation 5 and Xbox Project Scarlett projects are under way - however, detailed specifications of the consoles are still a subject of much speculation. What has been confirmed is that both machines once again have much in common: both are produced in concert with AMD, both use the Zen 2 CPU architecture while the graphics cores are based on the latest Radeon Navi technology.

Alan Wake and Control developer Remedy Entertainment has laid out its upcoming slate of projects - and there's a lot on the cards. Of course, there's the upcoming long, long-awaited Alan Wake 2. Anthem Collectibles can be found through Bastion - from the open world to the Fort Tarsis hub itself.
Though optional in most games, Anthem actually makes finding collectibles during the course of the Anthem walkthrough in order to progress the story - so learning what counts and where to find them comes in handy.
They are often also the subject of Anthem Daily Challenges, so again, knowing what to look for will make this task easier.

Remember Primal Rage? Atari's 1994 fighting game caught attention for its stop-motion animation visuals and its fantastical beast characters.
Well, a sequel was planned, and in-part developed for release in late 1996, but it was cancelled. Since then, a dump of the game has been available, but no emulator was able to run it. Until now, that is.
Last month a YouTube user called Gruntzilla94 released a modified version of MAME, which he called MAME4RAGE2, that is able to run the game.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice left quite an impact when it released some years ago. Developer Ninja Theory delivered an exceptional game within a limited budget, combining beautiful audio-visuals with solid technical underpinnings provided by Unreal Engine 4. Its powerful exploration of mental health challenges made it stand out from the crowd - and with over six million copies sold, the game was a tremendous success, scaling beautifully from high-end PCs down to Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo is attempting to scrub the internet of a fan-made Pokémon FPS, footage of which began to bubble up online last week. As chatter around the bloody Pokémon fan project grew, Nintendo began to take action, issuing copyright claims to block footage on YouTube and Twitter (thanks Kotaku). The emergence of this Pokémon FPS comes just a week ahead of Pokémon: Legends Arceus' release - timing which will likely irritate Nintendo.
