Little Nightmares 2's free Enhanced Edition update out today on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S

Tarsier Studio's deliciously sinister platform horror Little Nightmares 2 is getting a little spookier today on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, courtesy of a free Enhanced Edition update. Little Nightmares 2's Enhanced Edition aims to give the already richly atmospheric experience - which follows the adventures of new protagonist Mono and returning character Six through the grim streets of Pale City - an even moodier boost with a range of primarily visual enhancements. Ori and the Blind Forest developer accused of mismanagement

The founders of Ori and the Blind Forest developer Moon Studios have been accused of toxic behaviour and mismanagement. A Venturebeat report into the Vienna-based company includes various details on Moon Studios founders Thomas Mahler and Gennadiy Korol, who it is claimed fostered a work environment where anyone could speak their mind without fear of reprisal. But this approach led to the founders insulting each other and their staff on several occasions, the report alleges. [Read More]

Overwatch release date confirmed | Eurogamer.net

UPDATE 07/03/2016 5.10pm: Blizzard has confirmed Overwatch's release date as 24th May for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Right stick with me here, the next bit is a little confusing. There's an open beta planned on all three platforms from 5th-9th May and everyone will have access to that, wherever you decide to purchase the game. However, you'll get even earlier access from the 3rd May if you pre-order digitally, or purchase from select retailers. [Read More]

Resident Evil 8 spoiler warning after fresh leak

Resident Evil 8 appears to have suffered a damaging leak after screenshots and story details hit the internet over the weekend. The information, which Eurogamer will not detail or publish, appears to have stemmed from a development build of the game no doubt obtained as part of the recent ransomware attack that has devastated Capcom. Capcom has so far refused to meet the ransomware attackers' demands. Screenshots, marketing plans and story details for Resident Evil 8 are now out in the wild, which will make it increasingly difficult for fans to avoid spoilers in the run up to the game's launch. Resident Evil Revelations 2 review

Revelations 2 is a great spin-off title, and manages the uncommon balancing act of making series fans happy while offering something new. This is our final review of Resident Evil Revelations 2. For our thoughts on the first episode, head over here. Resident Evil Revelations 2 consists of four main episodes, plus two 'bonus' missions, and finally it is complete. When looking at the (great) first episode I chewed over the nature of a spin-off and covered the main mechanics, and in the final three episodes there are no major changes to the latter - beyond a few new guns. Assassin's Creed Rogue review | Eurogamer.net

Assassin's Creed Rogue is a surprisingly great extension of Black Flag, echoing many of that game's best achievements. It's easy to forget that Ubisoft really hit on something with Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. It was one of those open-world games where you might set off towards a mission marker with good intentions, but you would seldom get there because you would be too busy being dragged this way and that by compelling diversions. Diablo 2 best runewords and best builds for all classes explained

Following Diablo 2 builds allows you to get the most out of your chosen class. Though establishing a build is part and parcel of any RPG set up, Diablo expands it further with the ability to create and set runewords, giving you additional effects. While they were introduced in the original Diablo game expansion, Hellfire, runewords didn't come back until Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction, which re-introduced Runes into the game. [Read More]

FNaF World has been removed from sale, refunds offered

Five Nights at Freddy's World (or FNaF World for short) has been removed from sale on Steam after a flurry of complaints that the game wasn't up to snuff - a sentiment our own Johnny Chiodini would agree with. This was not Steam's decision, but rather developer Scott Cawthon who chose to recall it after launching the premature build a month prior to its planned release date. "Even though the game had a 'Very Positive' rating with 87 per cent, I was not satisfied with the reviews and ratings it was getting," [Read More]

Kane & Lynch 2 is nasty, pointless, and well worth playing

Kane & Lynch 2 is an ugly game in almost every sense. It's aesthetically ugly, it's thematically ugly, it's even mechanically ugly, a clumsy and chaotic third-person shooter with a sticky cover system and AI thicker than asbestos soup. What's interesting about it all, though, is that most of this ugliness (although admittedly not all of it) is deliberate, in what is a fascinating example of a developer exploring its own mistakes and mishaps through another creative work.
