13 years after it came out, Halo 3 has a new map.
Season six of Halo: The Master Chief Collection launched last night, and it brought with it Waterfall, a Halo Online map now playable in custom games for Halo 3. Waterfall is a snow and ice-themed map with a silenced SMG and Brute plasma rifle placed natively on the map. The trailer below shows it off:

Destiny 2 developer Bungie is making changes to its transmog system.
After "monitoring [players'] reception and behaviour" concerning the sci-fi shooter's divisive and time-consuming transmog system, Bungie says that from Season 15, one of the currencies used to purchase transmog bounties from Ada-1, Synthstrand, will be deprecated. Instead, you'll be able to purchase Ada's bounties for 10,000 Glimmer.

Bandai Namco has been forced to shutter the PC PvP servers for all Dark Souls games following "recent reports of an issue with online servers".
While console servers currently remained unaffected, it's thought the same exploit may be possible via FromSoftware's Elden Ring PC servers, too.
