As Halo Infinite cosmetics backlash intensifies, 343 says "feedback is being heard loud and clear"

343 has told disgruntled Halo Infinite players that changes are coming amid a backlash to its cosmetics system. Halo Infinite launched its free-to-play multiplayer last week, and while fans continue to praise its gameplay, they have heavily criticised battle pass progression and the price of cosmetics. The backlash intensified yesterday with the launch of Halo Infinite's first limited-time event, dubbed Fracture: Tenrai. This event, which is free to access for all players, contains its own progression track - and it's this progression track and associated cosmetics that have come under fire. [Read More]

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players are terrified of getting banned for playing Zombies to high rounds

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players are saying they're terrified of playing the Zombies mode to high rounds after a recent spate of high-profile ban reports from those who proclaim their innocence. The Zombies community has this week surfaced a disconnect message called "Sail 630 nuclear bug", which has popped up on the PC version of Treyarch's shooter. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's integration with Warzone is getting messy

Activision's grand plan for Call of Duty involves integrating traditional games in the series with the phenomenally successful battle royale Warzone. It's an idea that in principle benefits players, with cross-game progression for soldiers, weapons and even the battle pass. But in practice it has been a messy business. Destiny: The Official Cookbook really understands Destiny

There was a place in Brighton a few years back that used to do a drink called London Fog. If you've never come across it, it's a sort of Earl Grey latte, really - tea with a lot of hot, foamy milk, and something else, some glittering flavour, that I struggled to identify. The place closed down just as I was getting into them, London Fogs. I looked up a range of unsatisfactory online recipes, and then bodged together a few London Fog concepts of my own, all of which were completely undrinkable in thrillingly different ways.
