Outer Wilds developer Mobius has officially confirmed Echoes of the Eye, the game's "first and only expansion" which will arrive on 28th September for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
The story of this new chapter, revealed as part of tonight's Annapurna Interactive showcase, remains largely a mystery.

Battlefield 3 Premium launches on Monday 4th June for £39.99 / €49.99 / AU$79.95, according to Sony. The PlayStation 3 maker listed the heavily rumoured package in its European PlayStation Store update today (since removed). It is yet to be confirmed by EA. Square Enix has trademarked Tactics Ogre: Reborn in Japan, sparking speculation a remaster of the wonderful medieval-themed tactical role-playing game Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together will soon be announced. Today, Sony updated the PlayStation 4 so that it supports the High Dynamic Range (HDR) colour capabilities of some UHD, or 4K, TVs.
But it's worth noting that this update seems like a prelude to HDR support on the upcoming PlayStation 4 Pro console.
