It's four in the morning on 18th February 2017, and a 19-year-old modder and writer named Spencer Yan is sitting in his college dorm at his computer, with a server full of Discord users eager for him to drop the latest update for Midnight Animal, a total conversion mod and original story built upon the bloodstained, bullet-riddled blueprints of Hotline Miami.

Nathan Drake is seemingly headed to Fortnite.
While not formally announced just yet, an unlisted video on the official Fortnite YouTube channel gives us all the details, including a release date: 17th February 2022.
As part of a Fortnite x Uncharted crossover event - tagged "Sic parvis magna", which means "Greatness from small beginnings" - the Nathan Drake Outfit includes the default Style - which is based on the new movie - and the style based on the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End game.

A movie version of Portal is back on track, Star Trek and Lost director J.J. Abrams has said, nearly a decade after we first heard of its existence.

UPDATE 22ND JULY 2021: Amazon Games has issued a new statement on New World and recent concerns with graphics cards, announcing a patch to cap the framerate on the MMO's menu screen.
In the statement, Amazon said it had received a "few" reports of players using high-performance graphics cards experiencing hardware failure when playing New World.
"New World makes standard DirectX calls as provided by the Windows API. We have seen no indication of widespread issues with 3090s, either in the beta or during our many months of alpha testing,"

UPDATE 2.25PM UK: Ubisoft has now formally acknowledged Assassin's Creed Infinity and detailed more of how it will be run, and who will work on it. The lengthy blog post contains mention of two teams led by two creative directors. Clint Hocking, formerly of Splinter Cell and Watch Dogs Legion, will lead a team at Ubisoft Montreal. Jonathan Dumont, a veteran of Assassin's Creed Syndicate and Odyssey, will lead a team at Ubisoft Quebec.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is getting yet another remastered map from previous Black Ops games.
Yesterday, Activision revealed Treyarch's shooter gets Rush from Black Ops 2 later in Season 4.
Rush is a map included in the Vengeance downloadable content pack for the 2012 shooter. It takes place in the premises of a commercial paintball outfit.
