It's a slightly disconcerting thing to be presented with just before getting stuck into yet another online ranking match. You have a four per cent chance of winning, the game often tells me. Well damn. Bit of a lost cause, this, isn't it? Square Enix has pulled back the curtain on Final Fantasy 16's setting and setup, and confirmed the name of its main protagonist: Clive.
Clive Rosfield, to give him his full name, is the young knight and the tattooed man in the Final Fantasy 16 Awakening trailer, producer Naoki Yoshida confirmed in a post on the PlayStation Blog.

Warner Bros. has announced 2.5D action game Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate for PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
The Armature Studio-developed spin-off originally launched for PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS last year. The Deluxe Edition, as this new version is called, includes the same story and gameplay with high definition graphics.

Black Ops 2 is probably the highest earning Call of Duty game in the space of 24 hours, Activision has announced. But actual sales figures weren't revealed.

Bloomberg has reported that, after nearly eight years of development, the next project from BioShock creator Ken Levine is in development hell.
The report is based on interviews with several of Levine's former colleagues at Ghost Story Games, the small studio set up by Levine following the launch of BioShock Infinite and his decision to subsequently shutter former studio Irrational Games.
These colleagues discuss Levine's flawed management style, which has led to vast amounts of work being scrapped and staff left with nothing to show for years of their lives.
