There's a single-player story module in Star Citizen called Squadron 42, and it will be brought to life by an incredible list of Hollywood actors. Actors include Gary Oldman, Mark Hamill, Gillian Anderson, Gimli sorry John Rhys Davies, Andy Serkis and Mark Strong. Craig Fairbrass from EastEnders is in there too. Wow! I don't recognise the others but you may.
The Hollywood roster was announced at the weekend at CitizenCon, the third annual celebration of Star Citizen, a sci-fi space game crowdfunded to record levels and then even further - to $92m and beyond (as of today) - by sales of in-game spaceships.
There are some great videos to watch from the event, including behind-the-scenes motion capture footage:
Gary Oldman's rousing performance as Admiral Ernest Bishop brought to in-game life:

And then the entire two-hour CitizenCon 2015 livestream:
Star Citizen is being built module by module, but will be released as a whole package - with all of those modules - on PC sometime next year. Cloud Imperium Games releases development updates monthly on its website and tracks progress of module development there too.
