Super Mario Odyssey Purple Tomato locations - how to find Purple Tomatoes

  • Kingdom: Luncheon Kingdom
  • Total Coins: 100

The Luncheon Kingdom is one of the biggest kingdoms, but also more one of the most intricate in terms of level design. There's lots of magma in this kingdom, and plenty of enemies with projectiles (such as Hammer Bros and Fire Bros). Magma Bubbles are also another great enemy to use for reaching Regional Coins located above deadly magma lakes and rivers. The coins in this region are shaped like tomatoes.

From the Odyssey, jump over the platforms and possess the Magma Bubble in front of the Spinies. Move back through the area you just crossed and go through the opening to your right (this is the lake area with the Salt-Pile Isle checkpoint). Turn right, the right again. You'll find lots of rocks in the water. Jump up to grab all three of these coins.

Head back to the opening you came through to collect the previous coins. While facing the opening, look right and you'll find some coins in a low alcove. If you're starting from the Salt-Pile Isle checkpoint, head towards the lump in the lake and the alcove will be on the other side.

From the Salt-Pile Isle checkpoint, possess a Magma Bubble and use the red pot/cannon to launch yourself into the magma beside the Odyssey. Turn around and you'll find another three coins against the wall. You can use the red pot/cannon to get back to the Salt-Pile Isle lake.

From the Odyssey, use the purple Volbonan to reach the higher ledge with the giant salt pile. Use the next fork to flick over to the other side. Possess the tower of Goombas and collect the three Regional Coins on this platform.

From the Peronza Plaza checkpoint, turn around and jump back down to the bottom of the cliff. Use the form to the left and flick yourself back to the top to collect the three vertically placed coins. From Peronza Plaza, look behind the giant pile of food next to the Crazy Cap store. There will be three coins on a ledge below a dancing Steam Gardner (if you're collecting these after finishing the story).

From the Peronza Plaza checkpoint, look for the big blue stew pot outside the Crazy Cap store. Behind it you'll find three more coins waiting to be collected. You'll find three more Regional Coins behind the Crazy Cap store. Just destroy the wooden crates to reach them, or run around the other side.

From the Peronza Plaza checkpoint, run around to the right and look for the ledge with the Magma Bubbles jumping up in front of it. Possess one and land in the magma. Look under the ledge you were just standing on and jump up to collect the three hidden Regional Coins.

From the Path to the Meat Plataeu checkpoint, possess the Magma Bubble jumping in the hole to your right. Leap into the magma behind you, turn right and you'll see a total of seven coins floating around a red pot/cannon.
