Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 supports up to 20-player multiplayer, at least on PS4 and Xbox One.
Developer Robomodo noted this on the PlayStation Blog, where it also confirmed that the PS3 version will have no online whatsoever. A rep for the game confirmed to Eurogamer that the same is true of the Xbox versions.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 is being developed by Robomodo, who previously made Tony Hawk: Ride and Tony Hawk: Shred.
